Is DAAD Scholarship for 2023 open?
The DAAD scholarship is a fully-funded scholarship for academic qualification and advancement. This scholarship opportunity in Germany is specifically aimed at young refugees and national scholars hailing from Chad, DR Congo, Niger, Nigeria, and Togo.
However, the scholarship does not cover studies in certain fields, namely Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Dentistry, Law, Arts, and Architecture.
DAAD Scholarship for Masters in Germany
The scholarship holders receive a monthly allowance of 934 Euro, travel stipends and health insurance. This scholarship programme covers the German language course for up to 6 months, tuition fees, and an additional mandatory training programme.
DaaD Scholarship requirements for masters:
- Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree of at least 2nd class upper division level.
- Applicants must have good English or German language skills.
