Adam Mickiewicz University in PoznaƄ is seeking a motivated PhD student candidate for a research position in the OPUS project titled “Consequences of posttranslational modifications of HYL1 for plant development.”

The project, led by Dr. Dawid Bielewicz at the Centre for Advanced Technologies, aims to investigate the function of HYL1 protein in regulating gene expression. The research will utilize modern molecular biology techniques, including next-generation sequencing and fluorescence imaging using confocal microscopy.

Eligibility for PhD in Cell Biology:

To be eligible for the position, candidates should have a master’s degree in biology, biotechnology, bioinformatics, or a related field.

They should possess a good understanding of molecular biology techniques, scientific curiosity, high motivation, enthusiasm, and independence. Fluency in English and the ability to work in a team are also required. Hands-on experience in molecular biology and/or bioinformatics is desirable.

Upon completion of the program, you will be well-prepared to design and execute research projects and will have knowledge of biotechnology legislation. The program concludes with a Master of Science degree in Biotechnology.
