Fully Funded Scholarships in Italy for International Students 2023

Are you an international student in search for a scholarship opportunity to pursue a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree? If this answers yes, then you are in the right place.

The University of Padua is offering 53 scholarships to highly talented students from all over the world who wish to enrol in one of their degree programmes, completely held in English.

Fully Funded Scholarship: Padua International Excellence Scholarship 2023-2024

• The Padua International Excellence Scholarship covers a fee waiver and a gross amount of €8,000 per academic year. 
• The scholarship duration is up to two continuous years for Master’s degree candidates and three continuous years for Bachelor’s and Single-Cycle degree candidates. 
• Successful scholars will be expected to represent the University at various events, fulfilling an ambassadorial role.

Eligibility:

• In order to qualify for the scholarship, you can’t be an Italian citizen (unless you have citizenship in another country as well), you need to have gotten your high school diploma from a school outside of Italy (if you’re applying for a Bachelor’s or Single-cycle degree), or you need to have earned your Bachelor’s degree outside of Italy (if you’re applying for a Master’s degree). Also, you can’t be living in Italy currently.

Requirements for the Padua International Excellence Scholarship Programme:

• The scholarship program is highly selective.
• Only candidates with the highest achievements and school/academic records will be considered.
• Candidates must apply through the link provided.
• The scholarship selection process is based on academic excellence in your field of study, quality, and records from prior learning. 
• The Academic Committee of each degree programme will shortlist eligible applicants and award the most deserving candidates the scholarship.

If you meet these requirements and apply to one or more of the degree programmes held in English at the University of Padua, you will be automatically considered for the scholarship.

Scholarship results will be published according to the timeline indicated in the Call for applications. 

Benefits of the Padua Excellence Scholarship:

The scholarship is paid in two instalments of €8,000 each per academic year upon achievement of the merit requirements.

If you are offered the Padua International Excellence scholarship, you must not be a beneficiary of other scholarship or grants and be able to comply with the conditions to finalize your enrolment at the University of Padua.
