SHANGHAI GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIP FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

Details:

Established in 2006, the Shanghai Municipal Government Scholarship aims to enhance international student education in Shanghai and attract exceptional students and scholars to East China Normal University (ECNU).

The scholarship is available to outstanding international students pursuing undergraduate, graduate or PhD programs at ECNU.

Applicants for the undergraduate program must have a minimum HSK-3 level Chinese proficiency, or they can apply for a one-year pre-college program (with a May 10 application deadline) to study Chinese with a full scholarship.

Students who complete the pre-college program but fail to reach the HSK level required for the undergraduate program will graduate as language students.

Studying at ECNU can be an exciting experience for international students. Shanghai is a dynamic city, renowned for its rich culture, history, and dynamic business environment.

As a major economic and cultural hub in China, it offers plenty of opportunities for students to engage with the local community, immerse themselves in Chinese culture, and gain valuable cross-cultural experiences.
