The goal is to analyze the trajectory and consequences of these symptoms by identifying associations with biomarkers and symptoms. 

This research will build on an existing symptom survey study, which is comparing LUTS between individuals with and without recent COVID-19 infection.

  • Grammar schools and social mobility in England

The objective of this PhD is to thoroughly evaluate the assertion that grammar schools are effective in promoting social mobility in England. 

The research will analyze the claim in light of the impact of COVID-related inequality, rising poverty rates, and a weakening economy, all of which have contributed to a decrease in social mobility.

Parkinson’s Disease (PD) is known to be the second most prevalent neurodegenerative condition globally and is rapidly expanding, with unknown causes. 

However, recent research has indicated a correlation between diet, gut microbiome, and the likelihood of developing PD. Numerous studies have emphasized the role of neuroinflammation in PD’s onset, and this research project aims to examine how diet and gut microbiome can impact neuroinflammation and contribute to PD-associated pathologies.
